My Dealer: Morristown BMW New Jersey

They REFUSED to allow me to read a fairly basic Technical Service Bulletin (TSB 650199). Is is allowed?

Granted my dealer's service dept has always been lousy, but this too much.....

My Car: 1999 328i, purchased New from this dealer.

That's standard...customers are not supposed to have access to the TSB's...

I guess you can find it on the net, print it out, and take it to that dealership and ask them about it.

I've got all ACCESS to TSB's and recall campaigns on my Alldata

let me know what you need.e46ceo@earthlink.net

I'll be more than happy to print you the book for $20.00
Vinny was right, customers cannot access this in any way.

I can make you a copy so you dont have to cry at the service floors.

Re: I've got all ACCESS to TSB's and recall campaigns on my Alldata

AllData web site says:
Unfortunately, information for Honda, Acura and BMW is not available to consumers through the ALLDATA DIY by request of the each manufacturer.

According to this, ALLdata does not have any of the BMW TSB contents, except for the titles...

What do you have?

That's not true. Re-read the information. It says its not available to CONSUMERS. Maybe he work for a dealer of sorts or is in some way not considered a consumer (business maybe?).

Which on is THIS about.

110101 JUN 01 Engine - MIL ON/Codes Set/Tapping/Rattling Noise
Actually, it's just for my AM Radio problems....

1. TSB 650299: April 99, Audio - E46 Generator Interference Whine on AM Band
2. TSB 650199: April 99, Audio - E46 Radio Noise on AM Band/Poor AM Reception

As inncocent as these TSBs are, the dealer wouldn't let me read them.... silly way of showing customer service.....
