Last night my wife and I were coming home, and when we got in the car the windows fogged up. The A/C was blowing, but when we hit the Defrost button, the ac stopped but no defrost. We just rolled the windows down cause it was nice out. Today, the a/c won't work and all. When you turn it on, it makes the shhhh sound like it's gonna, but the no air blows out. Nothing on heat, defrost, a/c or any of the auto or manual settings. Does this sound like a final stage resistor? Sucks cause I've only had the car for 2 weeks:ben:
Checked all the fuses and turned the car on and off a few times yesterday. It's not that. I do get a little bit of air out of the center vents if I crack a window.
Sounds like something is on its way out, but not sure what. Keep us posted. BTW, is your outside air temp on the dash cluster reading incorrectly when this happens? Chas
yes my friend its the FSR for sure... happened to me once 2 years ago..since then was ok... gudluk
