Agency Power..section 1, 2, & 3.
R.E. El Diablo...section 1, 2, & 3.
Super Sprint...section 1, 2, & 3.

My top choices before i went with DINAN. I did a lot of research on them. Performance and sound is all there. They all sound very similar to eachother, very aggressive (LOUD Euro-engine built RUMBLE, if you know what I mean!). In Performance wise, very close as well, pretty much neck to neck. These systems are lookin at 2K to 2.5K for the full raced out system...rasp pipe..mid pipe..and exhaust.

to the OP,

try finding a used SS race muffler for sale i have that on my car and it was pretty nice and i liked the way it sounded (i also removed the resonator in my midsection 2 i believe). apart from that go with cat-less headers man and youll have a nice gain as well but it might be a little out of your budget.

I think the S54 sounds weird without the rasp. It sounds too muted/muffled with that AR25 in there.

Off topic: I dig Blood for Blood too, even if they are ignorant numbskulls from Boston :)

Cheating, that car has headers too. Not sure if this guy wants to deal with that in CA.

OP: I've run a Supersprint Race muffler on my car for years, and wouldn't have it any other way (well, aside from headers which is a huge pain in the ass in CA).

Meistershaft Ti.... hands down the best sounding exhaust. I had many other types but always traded them out because the sound wasnt right. If you add headers, its game over. Diablo is my second fav....

He said under $1000...which you can find a lightly used AP or RE for that...Meisterschaft? Not so much. Unless you want a beat up one, still over a grand.

i use to have a remus sport exhaust which I have for sale if anyone is interested :) it only has 4k miles on it and I have 2 extra tips that are mint (one on the exhaust has a tiny ding in it) i got rid of it because when i put 2 AR20s on it really quieted it down but I wanted the rasp out which it did. I got a custom exhaust from and it sounds money it was around $450 and i chose my tips and it is a similar stainless two canister exhaust that you see on ebay for $400 but i got to listen to it etc

I get zero rasp.. some of the other systems i here get that nasty rasp on the top end but I know people like that.

Supersprint Race is the BEST sounding muffler!!! Match it up with some nice headers and you got one MEAN sounding M3. SS Race mufflers are very pricey, but made with very high quality craftsmanship. Hand made in Italy.
