Now with colder weather, I've noticed major condensation on the inside of my windshield after my car would sit outside for 7-8 hours. It's mostly on front windshield, with some one the back and side windows.
I looked at other cars at my work parking and none of them have this problem.
Anyone can provide any insight? I am afraid that when it gets really cold, I'll have to scrape ice from inside
Hmm, I noticed this too. On the inside of the windshield and in the back window too. I also noticed that I get a slightly wet carpet near the doors when it rains heavily, and when I drive through a puddle (but nothing too deep, just a slightly larger puddle). Could be the window vapor barriers, because I know those window regulators were fixed, so it's possible they are torn... in my case.
yeah this happened to me, but it's because i accidentally held down the unlock button when fumbling with my umbrella on the way into work on day and came out to find my windows down at the end of a rain filled day...
I left the sunroof cracked on a sunny day and pulled the mats up on the seats to let the carpet dry and it helped a lot. no condensation this morning.
Interesting. I did leave sunroof open back in the summer and it rained a bit and my sunshade got a bit wet but that's about it. Sunshade is dry right now
I am gonna pull the floor mats out tonight and see if that helps
It's water as other have stated. In my wife's car, after she had some paint work on the rear quarter, she had the same problem. The bodyshop had taken of the rear light and did not put it back on properly. Water would get into the trunk through the light. Check the bottom of the spare tire. That where we found the water.
